Michael began his color guard journey in the winter of 2005 with the Santa Fe HS I.V.E., where he spent two years harnessing his talents. After graduating in 2006, he went on to perform with world-class drum corps and winter guard units including Teal Sound, The Cadets, Northeast Independent, Premonition Winterguard, and Braddock Independent. Throughout his seven-year marching career, Michael was guided and mentored by some of the most talented minds in the activity. Since then, Michael has had the pleasure of instructing and directing hundreds of performers from scholastic and independent units such as Baldwin HS (FL), Bartram Trail HS (FL), Santa Fe HS (FL), Key West HS (FL), Silver Trail MS (FL), West Broward HS (FL), Coral Springs Charter School (FL), Jupiter HS (FL), Lehman HS (TX), Rouse HS (TX).

Most recently Michael was the assistant color guard director at Rouse HS from 2021-2022, before that he was the director at Lehman HS from 2017-2021. Michael is very excited to be joining the team at Lake Travis and can’t wait to begin crafting and growing the Lake Travis Colorguard!
